Album Review
Album reviewed by Tatjana Marx - a world-renowned accordionist.
The Organetto is a diatonic button-style accordion, and its origin dates back to the 1700s. For decades, it has provided joyful and high-spirited moments for people of the European countryside as an instrument used for dance and celebration.
Lucio was born and raised in Canada. Inspired by his father, who also plays, Lucio began to play Organetto at the age of six. Lucio has appeared on TV and Radio shows in Canada and USA.
You would presume that Lucio was playing a standard accordion. Since he plays with such skill, it is not easy to believe that Lucio is playing a diatonic instrument on his CD "un ballo con Dio."
If you love lively Italian-style folk dance music such as Tarantella's, Polkas or Waltzes - then Lucio's Organetto CD is an IDEAL BUY! "
